Band
The cadet music program is very robust and comprehensive. There are 6 levels of band badge to be achieved, and each level requires much more than just the ability to play an instrument. Theory and drill are large parts of the program, as well as sight reading and aural testing, among others. However, it is designed for even the most beginner of players, who are brand new to their instrument. At the same time, it challenges even accomplished players.
Our band is new, and not very large, but it is great. We have several brand new players, and several very accomplished musicians. We welcome any band instrument, at any time. We are currently seeking lower brass players, though.
Our first performance will be at our Annual Inspection in May, and we are so excited!
